The National WildBird Refuge is in the process of raising $7.4 million to construct a world class bird Sanctuary. Construction will be by phases over a five year period. If total funding was available at the beginning of the project, more work could be done simultaneously, thereby reducing the completion time. Project Swallow has received tremendous support both from the local community and nationwide. NWR has contributing members throughout the U.S. and Canada. Members contribute to the operations of the organization. Board members contribute with their time, money and expertise. Financial support has been received from a variety of sources including:
