Annual Hummingbird Festival - Tunica, Louisiana

Every year Refuges For All Wildlife hosts a world-class Hummingbird festival at the 400-acre site nestled in the lovely and peaceful Tunica Hills. 

The festival includes Hummingbird experts who teach techniques on attracting and feeding birds and how to create effective hummingbird habitats. They also band and release the tiny birds each year. Visitors from near and far get to view the birds up-close as they are weighed and measured before release.

There are hiking trails for the more adventurous.Vendors come and provide a number of birding equipment and products including bird-friendly plants, feeders and food needed to start and maintain attractive hummingbird habitats at home. You can also purchase food and refreshments.  

Admission is free. Normal hours are from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. The entrance to the site is at 15736 Tunica Trace, Tunica, LA on Highwy 66.
